Art and science have a lot of things in common, yet people don't always see it that way. Scientists often spend hours taking and editing beautiful images and videos to help describe what we research, however, members of the public rarely get to see them. We want to bring the creativity of art and science together and share it with you. Scientists will either present their original works or will be paired with artists. The artists will create their own interpretations, in whatever media they choose, of a piece of work a scientist thinks truly captures their research. Our efforts will culminate in an opening at the new Rubenstein gallery, where artists and scientists will join forces to present their pieces. The exhibit will run in Spring 2019.
